AN EVENING THAT MATTERS
Founded in 2022, International Jumuiya is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering students through mentorship, leadership development, and educational opportunities. In partnership with Buffalo Public Schools, we provide an in-school mentorship program supporting refugee, immigrant, and English Language Learner students in grades 9–12 with academic guidance, career development, life skills, and personal growth opportunities to help them thrive academically and personally.

International Jumuiya began in March 2022 in Provo, Utah - a vision to create lasting change through mentorship, community, and opportunity. Today, we operate across multiple cities with programs designed to equip students with the skills and inspiration to lead.
Through Jumuiya Talk, we bring extraordinary voices - like Hayley Taylor Schlitz, the youngest Black American to graduate from a U.S. law school - directly to our students. Every story shared plants a seed of possibility.
